The foam is soft enough to provide flexibility for items, but also dense enough to provide cushion for even the heaviest of items. Technical: Polyurethane is open cell which means air and water can flow freely throughout the foam. The material weighs about 1.2 - 1.3 lbs per cubic foot. Great product

The foam was cut perfectly to fit the case and it's a solid investment. Customer service at Cobra was phenomenal, and on that alone I would purchase from them again. They were very fast to respond and addressed all my concerns immediately. The foam originally arrived without the case and I reached out to them and they had the case sent out the next day. 10/10 will order from Cobra again.
