It took me a while to find the exact foam insert for my Cabelas case (CAB51 Cabelas H51 DBL Long Gun 51") but this one is it! I had cut the foam in my case for a rifle I sold and wanted to re-use the case for a new one. The foam that arrived fit the case perfectly and now I can make sure my rifle does not move around. It's slightly thinner than the original, (less than ⅛") but it will work great.
Not as advertised. Product description from manufacturers website lists the set being advertised as being sold in a set of (x2) foam pads. Ordered x4 sets so naturally I expected a total of 8 foam pads. Only 4 ever arrived, I reached out to customer service, told them my issue and was never given a response back as to the status of the additional 4 foam pads I paid for.
Fits perfectly. Though it does not match the picture exactly, I only got two flat foam pieces, I did not receive the 3rd egg crate foam as shown. I did not needed it, but I was surprised it was not included.
It took a long time to arrive, nearly 3 minths after the order date. The case needed some extra trimming in areas to make it fit properly. Generally it is very solid, and im happy with the results.
Foam was cut for a Magpul PRS stock not what is pictured. It may have started that in description. Foam broke away from glue on top side of cut foam easy fix.
