Overview : Polyurethane foam is the most common type of foam used in cases. The foam is soft enough to provide flexibility for items, but also dense enough to provide cushion for even the heaviest of items.

Technical : Polyurethane is open cell which means air and water can flow freely throughout the foam. The material weighs about 1.2 - 1.3 lbs. per cubic foot.

REPLACEMENT FOAM INSERTS BY COBRA FOAM - manufactured locally, specifically for protective cases.

All inserts are cut to factory specs by computerized CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to insure a proper and snug fit.

Perfect fit for the Apache cases. Awesome fit. Gotta shave a lil bit off the corners where the roller wheels are but besides that it squeezes in nicely and cuts easy.

I have 7 9800 Apache foams for my cases, they fit perfectly, will buy more .

This foam is what should have come with the case to start with…Much more rigid and came pre cut , even the corners were rounded, to fit my case perfectly!!!

Perfect Fit

I needed to replace the pic-n-pull crap that came with the case. This was perfectly sized and easy to cut. Little tip, I used a filet knife to score the outline and a cheap “ginsu” style that I modified with a sharp tip to cut out.

Very Happy

I am very happy with the foam insert for my Apache 3800 case. It holds my handguns and magazines so that I can just grab them an head to the range. I appreciate how tight they are held and how well they are protected. I was nervous that the pick & pull foam would look bad if I tried it myself, so I was thrilled to find a ready-made piece that slides right into the case and holds more than I thought was possible. Thanks again!

Pelican V770

Ordered the convoluted foam inserts for my Pelican V770. The foam shipped and delivered quickly. It fit may gun case, and performed as expected. I would definitely order from Cobra Foam if I have future needs.

Great replacement to original

Delivery was quick, so thanks for that. The insert was used to replace the original after making mods to items secured in it, causing me to need a new foam insert. The original that came with the case was fine but I think this one is better and seems more secure in keeping things in place. I wanted to make better cuts on this one and thought about getting a hot knife but hate to buy things for one-time use so used a regular retractable razor blade with a fresh/sharp blade, kids chalk to outline (wiped right off afterward), and a metal ruler as a guide. Came out great. Good purchase.
