Apache 2800 Range Case Foam Insert for 4 Handguns and Magazines (FOAM ONLY)

For the 2 weeks that they ask for to manufacture my order id expect a level of accuracy that was not met. The foam is 2 halves glued together snd mine was misaligned completely on 1 side. The foam isnt packaged in a box or anything so it is at the mercy of the carrier: mine was more like a football when i got it. I recommend just soending the money on a case like a condition1 case and will be doing so in the future

Plano case 11852 Replacement Foam Insert Set (2 Pieces)

Not as advertised. Product description from manufacturers website lists the set being advertised as being sold in a set of (x2) foam pads. Ordered x4 sets so naturally I expected a total of 8 foam pads. Only 4 ever arrived, I reached out to customer service, told them my issue and was never given a response back as to the status of the additional 4 foam pads I paid for.

Apache Hard Case 9800 Replacement Foam Insert (1 Piece)

big improvement over the stock foam

I bought the 9800 for an M1a Super Match and quickly found out the foam wasnt up to the job. When stood on end overnight, the rifle's weight had compressed the foam beneath it and created a 2 inch gap at the top of the case. I ordered the closed cell replacement from Cobra Foam and a week after installing it there is no compression below the rifle and no gap the top. I feel much more confident that the case will protect my rifle on the plane and in the car.

Fits perfectly. Though it does not match the picture exactly, I only got two flat foam pieces, I did not receive the 3rd egg crate foam as shown. I did not needed it, but I was surprised it was not included.

It took a long time to arrive, nearly 3 minths after the order date. The case needed some extra trimming in areas to make it fit properly. Generally it is very solid, and im happy with the results.
